When Alexander Kontorovich and I started our little project, it was 2020. I came for the second time to the Stars over Donbass festival in Donetsk and, as part of the festival, we visited several schools. We told them about the creative work and talked to the children. Two and a half years passed. I started to communicate a lot with children in Russia and in the course of this communication I realised that many of my peers do not know what is happening in our country and why. So last year we decided to go to Balabanova School No. 5. A year passed. Russia's special military operation to protect the Donbass started.
Many creative people have started to come to us in the Donbass, many people are concerned and help us. Well, as much as I can, I talk about the life of children in Donbass by visiting Russian schools.
This time we visited school No. 5 in Balabanovo with a new book, as usual. We talked to the children and teachers we knew. There were many questions and I am glad that there are so many children writing in this school. Thanks to Marina Berejneva, the director and all the teachers.
And the next day we were already in Lipetsk. As part of the presentation of our new books, we were in Lipetsk Gymnasium #19. The time passed without being noticed. There were many interesting questions, and we were warmly welcomed. Thank you for this meeting.
